If your travel carries a tight deadline and you are from one of the eligible countries (Australia, Canada, Japan and the United States), we recommend the eVisa over the paper visa due to the quickness in processing, limited information required, and no physical documentation needed for processing.

Eligibility

The Brazil eVisa is currently only eligible for nationals of Australia, Canada, Japan and the United States. If you are not from one of these countries, you cannot apply for the eVisa.

 

Visa Duration & Consulate Fee

The Brazil eVisa is valid for 2 years and the consulate fee is $49.00, whereas the Brazil paper visa for USA passport holders is valid for 10 years and the consulate fee is $160.00. Visa validity and consulate fee for Non US passport holders varies.
